Haha Mario.

So maybe it's just me but SpecsJolt has always seemed like the most effective variant of Jolteon to me. And there are ways it would benefit your team in particular. For instance, SpecsJolt usually carries Baton Pass (it doesn't pass anything, but allows the opponent to switch before you do, so you can immediately send in something it doesn't threaten). So for instance, you could send Jolteon in, they switch to, say, Gliscor or something, you use Baton Pass, switch to maybe Machamp, and they'd probably switch out because Machamp often carries Ice Punch. And you can simply begin setting up with Sub or Bulk Up that way.

Also on Machamp I would maybe recommend Stone Edge over Sub because it really helps you out against stuff like Gyarados, Mence, Zapdos, etc. And because of No Guard it gets perfect accuracy.

i like my type coverage with jolteon though. rotom likes to come in on jolteon if there isn't a better choice to sponge the thunderbolt and then next turn i can hit it with a shadow ball.

i will implement the stone edge on machamp though, the only problem with getting rid of sub is that i can't dodge status effects from rotom or blissey.

Ah, ok, I can see the value in that.

For Machamp, Leftovers tend to be very effective with Substitute because you gain back some of the HP you lose from setting up a sub, but if you're getting rid of Substitute, you could maybe consider Lum Berry. Something comes in, sleeps or burns you, but it's healed immediately and you fire off a Dynamicpunch or something and hopefully KO them.
