My UU Team

I haven't played UU in awhile but UU recently changed pretty significantly (it lost Froslass, Umbreon and Raikou, and actually since the last time I played it also lost Porygon-Z and Cresselia), so I thought I'd make a team and play a little with it. Since I haven't played UU in awhile and it's changed since I did last, and also since I didn't necessarily put a massive amount of thought into making this team, it's probably not great. But anyway here it is:

Cloyster (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 160 HP/252 Atk/96 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Shard
- Rock Blast
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic Spikes

Lead Cloyster is imo the new best spiker (or in this case toxic spiker) of UU. He has amazing defense and Skill Link Rock Blast dents stuff. Ice shard for hard-hitting priority, toxic spikes to abuse SubRoost on Moltres, and Rapid Spin for Moltres.

Blastoise (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 16 HP/8 Def/232 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Water Spout
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Grass]

Blastoise's Water Spout is the whole reason this set exists. With STAB, assuming full health, Water Spout hits 225 base power. Scarf in combination with Cloyster's Rapid Spin makes sure I stay at full health.

Altaria (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/16 Atk/64 Spd/176 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Roost
- Earthquake

DD Altaria. Altaria's bulky enough that it almost always gets a DD up, but it's also weak enough that that doesn't necessarily do much. A weak link of this team.

Moltres @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Spd/252 SAtk/4 SDef
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Air Slash
- Substitute
- Roost

I based this team around offensive SubRoost Moltres. Moltres is, imo, the best pokémon in UU outside of rain. Abuses toxic spikes.

Steelix (F) @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
- Rest

After a few curses this thing becomes damn hard to take down and it hits pretty hard too. I needed a steel type and I though this set was nice. Unfortunately it's basically walled by Moltres.

Houndoom (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Overheat
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Flamethrower

I needed something that could hit hard immediately, and Houndoom certainly does that. I also need something that can OHKO Venusaur (so he can't absorb my toxic spikes). blah.

Suggestions? Very Happy
