Our Status.

Activity on the forums has been down quite a bit lately. There's very little competition and very little discussion, even in the midst of many great games which have recently come out and many which will come out in the future. Those of you who are from OBC, remember how great the site was when it was in full swing? If you were in it for the competition, there was plenty of it. There were the gyms, there were the tournaments, and there was just a lot of friendly play. If you were in it for the discussion, you were never let down. And it was a real community, with more experienced members helping out newer ones, welcoming them, showing them around, etc.

The purpose of moving to this site was to get something like that going again. Because I miss it and I know I can't be the only one. The reason I'm making this post is because I haven't given up on getting back to something like what we had before, a real community, one that is active and engaging. So please, if you also want something like that, I urge you to try to be more active on the site, to make a few more posts a day, to get on chat every so often, whatever you're able to do.

And lastly, I encourage everyone to take a look at what we have and see if there's anything that you believe should be changed. Whether it's an aesthetic change, a reorganization of forums, an addition or even a subtraction, I want to make this site as inviting as possible, and I want to make it a site that you all want to be a part of. Go here to make any suggestions that you have.

Anyway, I'm getting pretty nostalgic at the moment so sorry if this is a little bit much. But I'm really fond of the remnants of a community that we have, and I'd like to see it become a full-fledged community once again.
